When you need an attorney experienced in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate administration or trust administration, Attorney Mary M. Hogue is available to assist. She has the skills, expertise and education to develop a plan specifically tailored to meet your needs.

She has a common-sense approach to practicing law, as shown in her own words:

On individualized, personal attention

“I enjoy practicing law and work hard to make my clients’ experience productive and enjoyable as well. I provide responsive, cost-effective and common-sense legal representation.

“I explore with my clients the different approaches available to address their legal needs, based on their particular goals and desires. The client’s wishes are most important, even if relatives and friends are encouraging the client to reach a different goal or result. I collaborate with my client. I listen carefully to the individual and might propose a number of solutions or plans to address the person’s needs. The client then chooses the solution, based on the client’s relative priorities. I assure clients of my personal attention to the legal matter because I am the attorney who handles the project from start to finish.”

On providing legal services on time and as promised

“I provide written fee agreements, many times right at the first office conference, after the client selects a particular approach. My goal is to explain clearly what services I will provide, to give a good estimate of what I will charge for those services, and to give a good estimate of when I will complete the project. I take great pride in my ability to provide quality legal services in the time frame promised at an agreed-upon cost.

“If the client retains me to prepare documents, I will send the client drafts within two weeks of the initial office conference. Also, I have handled many emergency situations where time constraints dictate that I complete the client’s project at the earliest possible date.”

On satisfied clients who return

“I practice in areas of law where changing circumstances in a client’s life may dictate a change in that person’s plans. I have been successful in developing long-term relationships with my clients, so that they are comfortable coming back to me as their needs change.”
